We all live in the same world, but interpret it differently. In this talk, NYU Professor Pascal Wallisch will use perceptual illusions to explore why different people experience our shared world in distinct ways and discuss how disagreements can be resolved and common ground can be restored. We will discuss – in particular – the specific impact of diverse experiences and expectations.
Pascal Wallisch serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU. His research interests are at the intersection of Psychology and Neuroscience, specifically Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience.
