The workshop introduces mindfulness theory, research, and applications with a focus on stress reduction and well-being. During this session, you will engage in “Big Picture” thinking and discussions about how you attend to your personal and professional well-being and how you relate to stress and challenges. Through learning about the art and science of mindfulness and by engaging in various evidence-based mindfulness exercises, you will better understand how you can integrate mindfulness into you daily lives.
Come learn ways to calm your nervous system and thinking mind through awareness of breath and body. The session provides practical and accessible strategies that can help you enhance your well-being, relationship quality, health, and success. You will leave with tangible ways to reduce your stress and increase your well-being!
The workshop is facilitated by Cecilie Løvestam, a positive psychology practitioner and yoga teacher based in NYC. She holds a master degree in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) from the University of Pennsylvania. She has practiced mindfulness for 8+ years and has participated in several yoga and meditation teacher trainings.
